A spinoff of the the original Skoal Open, the Wintergreen is a gathering in the southern part of the United States during the off season.  The Wintergreen maintains the famed Skoal format while enjoying sun and fun instead of ice and snow.

The 2015 Wintergreen Skoal was held at Rancho Mañana Golf Club in Cave Creek, Arizona on Super Bowl weekend.  Long time Skoal Open participants from the Phoenix area hosted event on the mountain side layout.
